Doing Business is Easy with Homey Design.
Customer must have and maintain a VALID seller’s permit, must be a Furniture Retailer with current address, and must sign under penalty certifying you as Furniture Store Selling Furniture. Terms and Conditions within apply only to companies in the business of reselling home furniture and decor products with state license and resale certificates. HDI does not sell products directly to consumers and any stated terms & conditions for a consumer transaction transfers to the third party retailer reselling HDI product without liability to HDI.
We accept Cash, Cashier’s Checks, Wire Transfer, Money Orders, Checks, Zelle, and most major Credit Cards (Regular Price will apply plus 3% Convenience Fee). Cash/Check or Wire Transfer only for the first 4 orders on all new accounts. Minimum 30% Deposit is required to hold inventory.
Returned Check & Collection Fees:
All returned checks are subject to $50.00 returned check fees. In the event collection action becomes necessary, we shall be free to collect all cost and expenses associated the same, including but not limited to attorney’s fees and expenses.
All shipments FOB our Los Angeles County Warehouse freight prepaid or freight collect.
All claims for defects, merchandise must be packed in Homey Design original boxes, without any writing or marks on the boxes unless other agreements have been reached between both parties in regards to claims. In which case the amended agreement supersedes the return policy based on terms of that agreement.
Returns and Exchanges are allowed within seven (7) days from the date of delivery. Claims for defects or missing parts must be made within thirty (30) days of invoice date. RMA number is required for all returns and exchanges. NO EXCEPTION. NO RMA. NO EXCHANGE. NO CREDIT. NO REPAIR.

All returned shipments must be freight prepaid with RMA number and the original invoice. We will NOT accept any exchange or return on any used, previously displayed or assembled merchandise.

Any claim for merchandise damaged in transit must be made through freight carrier. BEFORE signing freight bill, PLEASE inspect all boxes for damages. (Please make sure carrier signs freight bill for any damages). If you do not inspect your merchandise at time of arrival, and Dealer signs the freight bill, neither Homey Design nor the trucking company will be liable for any damage claim.
We DO NOT handle claims from consumers directly. All requests must go through the dealer who sold the merchandise to the consumer.
No cash, check, wire or credit card refund. Exchange or credit on account only.
Require a 50% Non-Refundable Deposit. Special orders take approximately 8-12 weeks to ship from factory overseas after order is submitted to factory. Production may take less or longer period of time due to construction material availability.
Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy:
Homey Design believes in the importance of keeping competition healthy. We have heard feedback and concerns about price ranges vastly differing from one store to another and with online retailers. With the installation of MAP, Homey Design requires that the minimum display pricing online or in printed materials must be set at 2X the standard wholesale price. For example a $1995 item cannot be displayed at a price lower than $3,990. Homey Design prohibits partners from advertising below that price to keep competition and brand value equal. Keep in mind, MAP only applies to advertised prices, and customers are still allowed to sell below the indicated limit if they wish so ..
We believe this is the best option moving forward, and we expect to create equal earning opportunities in the market by putting emphasis on value rather than price. This new equalized system was created in an effort to stop price gouging that puts profit margins at a strain for some of our partners. Companies violating the MAP Policy or any other aspect of terms within will have their accounts suspended and potentially closed for repeat offenses.
Drop Shippers / Packing Fee:
All online and brick and mortar drop shipping product directly to the consumer will be charged an additional 5% Drop Ship Fee to cover additional expenses of extra packaging and visual inspection (including photographs of packed shipment prior to their delivery pick up. Homey Design charges 2.5% or $100, whichever is greater per order to palletize an order for shipment. Palletization is recommended and highly reduces the possibility of freight damage to the items in transit to your facility.
All merchandise is intended for residential use only, and not designed for industrial, commercial, institutional and rental use. Damages caused by such uses and normal wear & tear are not eligible for return or exchange.

Applicant agrees that all obligations of the parties created herein are to be performed in Orange County, CA and that the Courts of Orange County, California have jurisdiction over any action to enforce collection of any amounts due and resolve any disputes arising from the totality of terms and conditions set forth in doing business with Homey Design Inc.
